The Winter 2013 issue of Oculus magazine, published by the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter, features the rehabilitation of the Richardson Olmsted complex prominently in an article entitled “Healing Buildings to Heal a City Once Again” on pages 36-37. The article speaks about the complex’s unique history, about the challenges involved in the rehabilitation, and the design philosophies the team is integrating into the project. The design team for the project is led by Flynn Battaglia Architects and includes Deborah Berke Partners of New York as Design Architect, Goody Clancy of Boston as Preservation Architect, and Andropogon Associates of Philadelphia as Landscape Architect. A shortened version of the article is available in the online version of Oculus, eOculus, here.
