Flynn Battaglia was approached by a great local not-for-profit that needed renovation of their current headquarters facilities. The Rental Assistance Corporation operations were based in a 1920s era Warner Brothers film storage building that over time had evolved into office space. This evolution provided some inefficient building situations especially regarding circulation and natural lighting. The team at FBA worked closely with the client to assess the space and engage with the needs of the staff. Working from a close understanding of the client needs and existing space, we were able to generate a design that modernized both the layout and materials of the space while improving the comfort of the staff with access to natural daylighting and increased circulation from floor to floor. With construction intended to come to a close later this Fall, we share the excitement of the RAC staff to see their new workplace come together.
