Buffalo, NY

Genesee Gateway Block Restoration

Redevelopment in an entire city block of late 19th century and early 20th century buildings for reuse as contemporary office and commercial space in downtown Buffalo includes a collection of ten two-to-four story masonry structures on the south side of Genesee Street. The block creates a gateway location on the developing eastern end of the downtown area, infusing life into an area that gives visitors a “first impression” of the city.

FBA coordinated historic evaluations, design of the shell and core, as well as tenant fit outs including upscale apartments.
