Michael Lennon presented with Mentor of the Year Award
Michael Lennon has been described by those he has mentored as "the quintessential architect" for his drawing capabilities, technical knowledge, and descriptive verbiage. He consistently takes time to explain the document process, the assembly of details and the quality of drawings to the young and upcoming architects he has mentored. He not only explains the "solution" as it pertains to one situation, but how this will either save a building in the future or how the solution can be used in other circumstances. His wealth of knowledge about technical details and restoration techniques is unmatched. This is evident by the number of peers who "twist" his ear for solutions that might arise on other projects.
For his unselfish efforts in assisting in the development of our future industry leaders, A.I.A./Buffalo WNY is proud to present Michael with 2006 Mentor of the Year Award.
