Historic Preservation

A significant portion of the past and current work of Flynn Battaglia Architects involves historic sites, communities, and buildings which are listed on the local, state or national register.  Through this work, the firm has established a standard of care for projects based on thoughtfulness and sensitivity in the application of historic planning and design standards.  Original techniques and current technology are carefully evaluated so as to maintain the integrity of historic resources.  A range of services is provided including: Historic Surveys and National Register nominations, Design for Restoration, Rehabilitation and Adaptive Reuse, Preservation Planning and Design,  Conservation and Cyclical Maintenance plans, and Interpretation of Historic Sites.
